IMHO the messengers should get organized and welcome licensing. If done the right way it would make the industry a better place for messengers.

Hey Toronto folk, can anyone recommend a local place that sells racing or other bike culture DVDs ?

I know Cycle Therapy has a rental library, not sure about sales. I remember there being a bunch of DVDs under the counter at Sweet Pete's Cyclepath as well.

I'm not too familiar with the toronto gyms, but I've been to 3 of them before. The handiest for me would be the Rock Oasis at front and bathurst as it is on my commute but really any of the downtown ones are just as easy. I've got unpacking to do all evening this week, but do you want to arrange to go after 5pm some evening next week? I'm pretty sure our return commutes are pretty similar (I'm going to bloor & ossington these days), so we could have a little spin westward after.

Yeah, I'm definitely up for going next week... at the moment the only evening I have plans is Tuesday. I haven't been to any of the gyms in Toronto, so I have no preference. Some friends of mine owned a gym in St. John's and that's where I was introduced to climbing (and I've since done some outdoor climbing around the coast in NL as well).

Velotique at Queen and Coxwell has a nice selection as well.

go buy one of the little cup-top brewers at tap phong for something like $5, eagle brand and some coarse ground coffee. they sell some vietnamese brands on spadina in the saigon sub stores but the quality is kinda suspect. substitute with your favourite grind. you'll have recouped the cost of a coffee in one of the restaurants after 2 brews. it's mindnumbing waiting for it to drip though.

I've only been to Rock Oasis and The rock climbing academy at Queen and Broadview, Rock Oasis is bigger and has some taller walls from what I remember.

As opposed to rounded corners like on an actual playing card.

I suppose I could get out the safety scissor's. I will leave that choice to your Eminence.

laminating the sheet and then cutting will result in cards not lasting very long as opposed to the card being encapsulated in laminate keeping moisture out. Longer and more expensive process, so never mind. How many racers you looking at so far?

Ok guys, the chainring cannot be bolted on the inside (must be outside) or it contacts the chainstay. The chainline seems to need to be moved in from the crankset side, or the chainline needs to move outwards from the wheel side.

The rear wheel is already spaced over 3-5mm, what should I do!?

How much more clearance do you need to put the chainring on the inside?

Sounds to me like you need a narrower BB and mount the ring on the outside (sometimes doesn't work if its a double with high flanges on the back) OR a wider BB or some BB spacers, then mount the ring on the inside of the spider at a close tolerance to the chainstay.
