And I'm in for both Unwin Sprints this summer and CM this eve. Man, this summer's gonna rule. @Brad: last time I broke my elbow I was told I would be getting one of those lovely upgrades. Not the same one, I need a whole new joint I believe - don't we all. ;) |
i say we need to train for sprints...CM cant help...safety can ;)
safety + sprints ftw! |
I've got some passes to The Flying Scotsman. They're double passes so pair up and get in contact if you'd like one. Please don't ask for one if it's just you or if you're not sure you can make it because my supply is really limited.
Date: Wednesday, April 11 Time: 7pm Theatre: Varsity Theatre, 55 Bloor West |
I know I've seen some info on this here before, but who around town is recommended for minor frame work? I need some rack boss eyelets added to dropouts. I'd have a crack at it myself except it's aluminum and so requires to be welded.

anybody interested in Tai Chi? I'm going for a 'free introductory course' noon to 2:00 pm this saturday. I want to learn some basics so I can pass some time in the evenings on my tour and release some of the tension built up from being in the saddle all day (and freak out all the squares at the campgrounds). Its at Wu's Tai Chi Chuan Academy between richmond and adelaide at 76 Stafford Street.

I gotta do this sometime:
Black Metal Brunch @ Graffiti's 170 Baldwin, at Kensington, 416-506-6699. Planet Kensington may be dead, but the legendary punk club's superb Black Metal Brunch lives on in this Elvis-fixated Market watering hole. Warning: unless you consider Florida grind-core blasted at maximum volume dinner music, bring ear plugs. Best: from grunge gourmet chef Linda Dawson's (ex Southern Accent, Bellair Café) rotating card, her creditable vegetarian take on eggs Benny topped with shiitakes and heavily yolked hollandaise; shredded duck, sun-dried tomato, scallion and bocconcini omelette sided with 'homies" (regular and sweet potato home fries); remarkably light blintzes overstuffed with lemony ricotta and dressed with thickened sour cream and marinated cherries. Complete brunches for $16 per person, including all taxes, tip and a pint. Average main $7. Open Sunday 11 am to 6 pm. Licensed. Access: one step at door, small washrooms on same floor. Rating: NNNN |

Anyone want to trade a 42t 130bcd for a 44t 130bcd chainring? :) Rode it last night and didn't like the uber low gear ratio, brand spanking new otherwise...
Fridays are usually no good because I have lunch with my coworkers. If anything changes I'll post. I assume you'll be online before then? Heading downtown in like 30mins. |
I'm actually going to CM today! Hurray for slacking off on data analysis! Who cares about data anyways. It's so... snobby.
Cam, are you going? I want to give you that beery beverage I promised. |
