Reminded me of when a certain American won a mountain stage in the Tour last year. But, obviously no one here could be drugged!

i originally had the problem diagnosed a few years ago when i was boxing and ended up having to quit as a result. i went to physio for patello femoreal syndrome, but stopped going once i wasn't in constant pain. so i have a fairly good idea what the problem is, but i was wondering if there was a (cheap!) cycling specific brace someone had heard of... until then, i'm just gonna have to put the tensor brace i have on and deal with it.
There's a chiropractic college teaching clinic at Sherbourne corporation (333 Sherbourne Street) which is pretty inexpensive. They should be able to suggest some exercises etc. to help if it's a patella tracking problem. They can also access some reasonably inexpensive braces/supports if that's what you need. Most braces to correct tracking are patellar stabilization braces, with a hole in the middle. Short term, you can also tape the patella but I've never been big fan of that.

do you know if he's accepting new patients? if he is i'd like his contact info as i'm in need of a GP and need to get my feet looked at for a new pair of orthotics and i'm overdue for my "turning 30 physical - cough".

The point wasn't the avg speed, the point was the frigging 29 minute lead time. Whether it was the avg speed, tactics, wind, climbs, whatever.. That's still insane!

that doc sounds $$

i had ignored ginko cuz of all the marketing hype, but it wouldn't hurt to ask/check out. i think that's what the magnesium should address in the meantime.

re: sherbourne - i was a patient of the chiro clinic for a couple years. i'm already at pchc now, but i've pretty much decided i can't do chiro any more. the naturopath clinic started doing some accupuncture this week, but not on my knee yet. i prefer that much more, and it's free!!

ok. knee brace, check. extra layers just in case, check. summer shoes and gloves, check. wrapped wrist, check. sunglasses, oh yessss here i go... l8r sk8rs!

I dont think he is taking on G.P. patients...only sports medicine clients. You could make a sports injury appointment with him and ask him personally once you are with him. If you call for a G.P. appointment he will not take you.

jeebus.. I didn't take my Greens+ with me to NL last week and so when I came back this week I figured I shouldn't take it full strength.. been doing 2/3 normal amount every morning. Even after that short of a break AND going part-strength, it's still cleaning me right out. Just thought I should share.

"Organic alfalfa is high in chlorophyll and is a well-documented colon cleanser, deodorizer and detoxifier."
"Apple fibre helps to maintain intestinal balance. It cleanses the intestinal tract with its soluble and insoluble fibres."

Also:
"Ginkgo biloba extract standardized to 24% ginkgo flavonglycosides and 6% terpene lactones (50:1 = 1,000mg) Ginkgo biloba extract enhances the body's utilization of oxygen and glucose and has a cleansing effect on the circulatory system."

great title: "When I Die, I'm Going To Haunt The **** Out Of You People"

https://www.theonion.com/content/opin...going_to_haunt

also, the only horoscope that matters (ie. the onion's):
Virgo August 23 - September 22
You'll die from an accidental overdose of hormones that causes every muscle in your body to flex uncontrollably, become rigid, and eventually rupture after the 911 operator repeatedly hangs up on you for saying you're as "hard and straight as a bar of iron and ready to pop at any second."
