Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I usually web browse with cookies turned off on my iPad, and I frequently clear my history. I prefer the Full Site view. BF is a PITA unless cookies are on. Not that big of a deal, just a bit more inconvenient for me. Some things work better, but I don't like the mobile version being the default view for my iPad.

Is embeding youtube not allowed anymore?

Also +1 on uglyness.
I hate color gradation gone wrong, and to have a yellow to white gradation on every single posts is just...

Works fine for me. I just wish a newer version of the software was used.

Wow, surprised so many like it. This has an old school 1990s Microsoft look to it. Perhaps the software is upgraded, but the look and feel of the site sucks now. My eyes start to bleed after about 10 minutes staring at the all-white screen. Text is too small, can't embed a photo directly into a post from my computer...lots of things I really don't like. Come to think of it, there is nothing about the upgrade I like!

I could really use something other than white background. How hard should it be to provide functionality to customize colors? I would prefer dark background and light text rather than blaring white screen.

I think the update is ugly, but i don't care that much.

Interesting that others mentioned having trouble tying on the old site---I had never had that but today had trouble with the reply screen freezing and then shutting down. Maybe forum managers built in some feature to keep my posts to a certain length so others would not drift into the "blah, blah, blah" zone?

Sorry to serial post, but I use Chrome and I had never had problems with this site prior to the change. Now it refuses to scroll and freezes frequently.

Whatever. If it bothers me that much I don't need to be here .... just mentioning it in case anyone else has similar issues.

I miss the NOTIFICAIONS tab that used to be in the upper right hand corner.

Cheers

I don't mind the new look, I just wish they'd make a sticky on how to post large photos, or at least make it simpler to post large photos. I mean it's 2016 most everyone is on broadband, we don't need thumbnail images.

I just installed that. Seem nicer. Good tip. The ABP red icon has a 7 on it. 7 blocks this page.
