Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

A proper dress shirt has a pocket.

As far as I can tell, you're the same as you were before.

She'll probably stop calling you "Buddy", when you stop calling her "Missy".

I wasn't commenting on the pup, my Tourettes was just finishing the phrase. It's one of my minor quirks. At least I have managed to stop Tourette swearing.

Today, Mrs. Doug28450 went to Target. As she was standing in line she was looking at the movies on the end cap. She bought me Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

Funny you should say that. In a couple of weeks we are travelling to Provence to stay for 11 days in a village called Tourrettes sur Loup. I hope I won't have any reason for swearing.

Today was kiddie bike day at the shop. Adjusted rear hubs and chain tension on two el-cheapo department store bikes. Loose headset on one.

Built a new 16" Hot Rock with training wheels.

When Mrs. rpen was about 5, she wore a hole in a 45 rpm copy of the recording of "How Much is that Doggie in the Window?" Instead of buying her a new record, her parents bought her her first Cocker Spaniel. Supposedly less grating on their nerves. I guess.

Puppy school worked. Phooey on that sit/stay stuff. Higher education means food, and how best to get it.

We're still in summer festival season. No dress shirts for that. The other stuff should be starting in September.

Explain why I would have to wait almost an hour at the rheumatologist, as I did the time before last?

It took them that long to come up with a new nickname for you?
