I am not a mod.

I'm sure Mrs sbxx doesn't see the jersey as any sort of bribe at all. :twitchy:

If someone has prostate cancer and it's been treated, the PSA is monitored to measure or monitor recurrence.

Capishe?

Si. Gracias. Even if there is no prostate anymore?

Yes. If there is no prostate, hypothetically the PSA should be zero. So if your PSA goes from 0 after surgery to something above zero, that suggests a recurrence. It happens sometimes.

Oh boy, another bibs or shorts thread. Just what we needed.

I know you won't believe me, but I have plenty of both and don't have a strong preference.

She gets paid very well, for the local market. Below minimum wage in your country.

So this PSA is not produced IN the prostate? It's just produced for the prostate? Or is the prostate growing back :foo:

2017 World Championships courses unveiled | Cyclingnews.com

That course actually suits him, and I'd LOVE to take a trip to Norway. Hmmmm.

Fun fact- the Norwegian fans in Richmond for the 2015 race were by far the most fun group of Euros to venture to our little city. They had lots of flags, they made their own Norwegian hill, gave out beers to anyone who bothered to smile at them, generally had an awesome time. And they didn't even have a rider in contention.

Unlikely to have Zika in Norwway.

This guy has a good memory :thumb:

We already decided to go to Amsterdam in October so I doubt we can realistically pull off another Euro trip the month before, especially just to see bikes. Still, a man can dream.

While dreaming, I noticed that round trip tickets to Oslo are only $550! That's pretty insane.

It's produced by the prostate and is actually a protein to make semen less viscous. It's produced a bit more in prostate cancer cells. It is not produced anywhere else in the body. The blood test has two uses, generally speaking:

1. Screening, to detect an abnormally high PSA which is suggestive (but not proof) of prostate cancer
2. Diagnostic, to determine recurrence and/or response to treatment.

I hope that makes sense.

Ask for me, too. I'm on a fixed income, you now. ;)

Wow! That should be reason enough to go just for the weekend.

My PSA has gone from 0.02 to 0.08 to 0.11 to 0.22 over the last two years. My urologist said we probably won't wait till 1.0 this time before starting treatments. I have an appointment with both my urologist and oncologist in May and will get more info and maybe a better timeline.

Anyway, doc says I'll probably kick from something else first. Just not looking forward to the hot flashes and breast enlarging again. ;)

I don't think you can. I tried a couple years ago and it's not available to non-euro participants. I even tried to sign up using a country spoofer but it kicks it out when you try to give them a credit card.

Kinda agree. People can **** all they want about the airlines and the extra charges for all the little things that used to be included, but the fact that you can fly to Europe for less than $600 in 2017 is pretty amazing. I paid almost 800 to fly to Spain in 2004, with inflation that'd be over 1k today.
