Gary is probably the fastest to visit Addiction.

sbxx1985 04-29-17 10:49 PM

Faster than umd. I think umd was the origin of wut.

That was a short stroll down memory lane. I wonder where some of those posters are now.

Very satisfying. Congrats.

For fun I looked up Addiction threads and I saw an Addiction thread I started that predates these Addiction threads. It must have been too clinical, as it did not have a long life.

You were robbed. Too bad the statu(t)e of limitations has passed. If I had a didicated to the greater good type of personality, I would take it upon myself to compile and crossreference all of the addiction threads, and post the finished product in a public place.

First post was too long. It did have Tulex, timmyquest, Grumpy, and RacerOne. That's a win.

sbxx1985 04-30-17 07:11 AM

It would have taken Razor a long time to delete all those posts. Night garbage posts and all.

Toss up between Racer Ex and Gary. Both way above my pay grade.

I did the Point-to-Pint a couple of times. I may have mentioned it here. ;)

We used to leave from Central Park and ride up to Bear Mountain and back. A few guys made it a regular thing, but I bailed after the second time. I just couldn't see the point in intentionally making oneself uncomfortable. I figured if I'm going to be spending that much energy I might as well be playing a ball sport. :D

What's this forum about?

Mine as well. I don't remember Racer Ex posting. From Addiction to the 33.

We stopped at four places for 25 minutes each. So I could have used a regular tripod quite nicely. My friend was shooting with a tripod at ISO 100 for 20 seconds. I had a faster lens, but still had to shoot at ISO 800 for 1/4 second or so. I'm afraid I got crap. Probably a ton of noise. I am uploading the file now. Stay tuned. More to come.

Can't wait....
