Somewhat amusing and clever - who are you and what have you done with Dan?

Big mistake.

Please remind me to stay out of the 41. No good can come of it.

I mean, that thread seems pretty tame and no one turned your comment into a snarkfest.

There've definitely been 41'ier threads.

Yeah, that is true.

But the OP is not really receptive to realistic answers, so it's pearls before swine IMO. The snarkfest potential is there, but I am staying away.

Oh boy. I sent something to a friend for her bday in Italy. It's literally been a month and hasn't arrived yet. 5-10 business days my butt, USPS/FedEx. Already missed the deadline.

I'm thinking troll.

Speaking of saddle padding, for awhile I was using a Marek 95g all crabon saddle with ZERO padding and it was fine even for a century. And a weight weenie's dream!

I stopped using it NOT because of comfort, but because the back edges were a little sharp and I tore holes in a couple pairs of bibs NOT SHORTS.

Mrs. LAJ sends pepper seeds to folks over there, and I'm amazed how long it takes. Believe it or not, the USPS gets it there in a timely manner, then the (insert country) camps on it for weeks.

You ain't kidding. I just found the customs number on my receipt and tracked it. It apparently left the US on 4/13, got to Milan the next day, and has sat in various customs offices ever since. At least now it's in the right part of the country.

Bonus points if it's underground.

I had no choice but to go in, after this. Snark just seems to be the name of the game. It is sometimes difficult to hold back from just trolling the snarks. But that never ends well.

Well, this is the way to go, but I assumed Ms. LAJ doesn't have the resources.

TBH, having family members similar to him in their outlooks on life, quite a bit of his non-bike ramblings didn't bother me. That was amusing, and not really the part I was referring to. For some reason, his constant search for the lightest bike is just irritating to get through. I have no idea why, as topics such as your aerodynamics in the TT field, and everyone's racing experiences are interesting reads. But last night I reached the point where he started dremeling out an RD for weight loss, and I really started to question his outlook on life.
