Well it is combustible.

Hot. But the bike is in the way, do you have any other angles? Is that a 2004 9-5?

sbxx1985 05-02-17 02:03 PM

JP's old car. Old photo.

sbxx1985 05-02-17 02:05 PM

Building a 56 under 6kg is also hot, even if it is a Cervelo.

In other news, I bought my wife an Apple watch today for Mother's Day/wedding anniversaire.

sbxx1985 05-02-17 02:14 PM

That new Garmin Fenix is spendy.

Dan333SP 05-02-17 02:19 PM

Tandem TT racing looks funny.

That's the one that Seattle Forrest swears by, no? Or is this a new, new one?

Dan333SP 05-02-17 02:25 PM

If that's the giant Garmin watch, a soon-to-be-former coworker wears one to log his little walking laps around our floor. I wonder if he needs turn by turn functionality for that?

Magnesium bikes are hot. So are aero bikes. I do have one issue, and that's the BMC rear brake set up. Holy crap, it's hard to get right. Once it is, it's done, but it took me a bit on Coach John's TT bike. That BMC TT bike is a purpose built animal.

I'm excited for your bike. Don't screw up the build.

*until I get a Time RXRS.

The build has already been decided, I'll just put my current stuff on it. That is, full 105 drivetrain and TRP brakes. The woman in the shop asked me how I was planning to build it up and I can tell she was disappointed when I said 105. At least my new crabon tubulars will look good on it. Also, I might splurge on one of those Aerofly handlebars if I can find one for a decent prize on ebay.

Yea, we figured as much. Best of luck to you.

You have to be able to think like a fugitive dust cover. Ask Pepe where it is.

I tried "being the dust cover" but it didn't help. The only good thing is my shop floor got swept for the first time this year. :thumb:

I can see why. The chicken dinner was like 2000+ calories. The three piece cod dinner is 1675 calories.

Seems like the second guy could be using aero bars and tucking his hands up under the second guy's ass. They seem to have gone to extreme aero lengths otherwise... but not something obvious like that.

Paketa tandems are purty sweet.

I don't look at calories.

So, another setback on my Gianni Motta. I'm installing the BB and as many of you oldsters know, there is a fixed cup and an adjustable cup which is adjusted with a pin spanner of which I own two. I get my campy one out and one of the pins is sheared off. OK, I get the other one out and it's missing a pin. So, do you think I could remove one of the pins and make a whole spanner? Of course not. Different thread sizes.

I am setting up a Netgear Arlo Pro (of course!) security camera system for our three unit townhome community. Not without some issues. The base station is hard wired to the router, so it can't be placed just anywhere. The distances to the furthest placed cameras are just a few feet too long to communicate with the base station. I will have to see whether my neighbor can host the base station in a place that has better and shorter "sight lines" to all the cameras. Good news is I don't think that will require any changes in the net setup. I am pretty sure the base station sets up its own network and just needs some access to the internet through anybody's router to communicate with our computers and mobile devices for monitoring. My neighbor is supposed to help later this evening. We will see if he can find a good place for the base station. Otherwise we are screwed.

Not without aggravation, but surely the LBS has a drawer with some of those pins lying around in it. No? What a shame. It is such a simple tool with almost no performance requirements.

I keep thinking there is an April Fool's joke here somewhere. Insanity.

E-stalked WhyFi's Facebook since he accepted my request. Just a long stream of pictures of his kids and very little bike content. For shame.

Starting to feel the pressure.

I have two main concerns:

1. Bar tape color. The possibilities are endless!

2. I read that they will be releasing matching shoes and helmet. I hope they are really ugly, otherwise the temptation might be unbearable. Especially if laces are involved. Have you seen how much the laced Specialized shoes cost?
