Calling our grammarians here. Is it "all it's worth" or "all its worth" as I posted?
In one case, it becomes "it is worth" but I always thought that the "its" was possessive in this case. My iPad speel chequer thinks the former.
Never mind, my language arts teacher wife informs me "it's" is correct and I'm an idiot.

In your case I am sure it is "it's" = it is. Actually the meanings aren't that much different, but I have never seen it without the ' until just now.

The vinyl ones from the drug store work okay and are cheap, but they don't really hold up well. I might go through a couple or three pair on a long job. The "nitrile" type (often purple) that the dentists are using now because of their better protection against disease are much tougher. That is the way to go. I'm sure Amazon has them.

Excellent question and very subtle. A friend and I actually collect those. Like "to the manor born" or "to the manner born". Another good example is "the artist formerly known as Prince" or "The Artist, formerly known as Prince".

The only time I wear gloves is if I'm disassembling the drivetrain (pulling a cassette for cleaning, changing jockey wheels, replacing a chainring, etc). For normal stuff like changing cables or replacing a tube, no need.

I have it on good authority the residual monomer levels are way below any toxicity/carcinogenicity threshold, but damn that odor gives me the creeps. Especially when the dental hygienist sticks her hand in my mouth and the smell is right there inside of me. I used to work in am acrylonitrile manufacturing plant so I am really wary of **** like that.
Or is it "weary". After a few years on BF, I have trouble remembering.
