Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

The Cubs are doing a lot of sucking. At least we won't get swept today.

The other Cubs (our little league team) got to walk the field at Coors before Sunday's game in a little parade. It was cool. There's a lot of gum in the dugouts. We got out before the rain delay.

You can mount a rear rack on the 2017 Zydeco. Not that I would, but if I did, I could.

It's a tough one. My sister's kid plays it. Just finishing grad school at some fancy-schmancy conservatory in Canada.

Calling our grammarians here. Is it "all it's worth" or "all its worth" as I posted?

In one case, it becomes "it is worth" but I always thought that the "its" was possessive in this case. My iPad speel chequer thinks the former.

Never mind, my language arts teacher wife informs me "it's" is correct and I'm an idiot.

Picked up some examination gloves yesterday and just finished (re)cleaning the BB this morning. Pulling the gloves off and not having to wash my hands a dozen times is like magic.

There was a latex glove left discarded in front of our house last evening at some point, almost stepped on it this morning.

I was glad to realize it was a glove. On first glance it resembled something else designed for just 1 appendage.
