My ride Flybys always show runners (dunno about walkers - haven't looked) unless I check the "rides only" box. Looking at my walk, I'd assume it's the same as the Flyby has a "walks only" option.

Huh, I guess I don't use the stalker feature enough. They need to make it work on the mobile app.

Seriously, I admire Canon. They simply stole the market from Nikon above them and Minolta, et. al. below. By above and below I don't mean actual quality or performance, but rather market share and perceived value, quality and performance. Much like what Shimano did to Campy and Suntour. It was a tight race between Nikon, Canon and to a lesser extent Minolta until the '80s when Canon just pulled away from the pack. I'll never use it, but I have a high regard for their marketing prowess.
