I find PHC amusing in small doses... I mean, it's no Car Talk.

Western Virginia. Heading to Indianapolis on Sunday. Lovely weather all afternoon and now that I'm free, it's raining. Maybe it won't last and I can get out for an hour.

Agree. I really miss click and clack.

I would actually LOVE to do a call-in medical show in the vein of Car Talk...but I suppose healthcare and illnesses are no laughing matter...

I think that I'm going to download a bunch of Car Talk for the next road trip - I don't know why I hadn't thought of it before. It's engaging, much more so than music, and zoning out on an 8-hour drive is problematic. It's also probably impossible to stay in a ****ty mood with those two and their infectious cackling all the time.

A Stump the Chumps medical edition could be interesting, lol.

Not I. I recently ordered up a pair of these from Merry Olde. They're wonderfully elegant (if you're into Old School) and, for me, comfortable.

Those should have Italian lacing.

Lol - yup. I almost never drink soda, but I like one on long rides, for some reason.

It's the only time I drink Coke. When I need that dart to the heart.

Dr drew and adam carolla do some entertaining stuff in the medical vein.

Also vinnie tortorich has some entertaining doctors on from time to time.

I may have to channel Pcad and just go out and ride in ther rain. It's been three days and I'm jonesin'.

Speaking of political sophistry ... I have to sit on my hands every time I visit LCF -- you know, just to keep up with things. I tried engaging with the nonsense for a bit, a while back, but BillyD warned me off. I thank him for that; helped preserve what's left of my sanity.

seedsbelize 05-25-17 04:33 PM

Trying to upload pics/ links again. I am unable to select a file type. Period.

We could consider this thread to be the closest thing we have to "Bike Talk."

I haven't listened to them for 15+ years, but to this day, I immediately think of them whenever I hear a woman talking in the little girl voice.

You don't remember patentcad? He used to come around here sometimes.

Pcad is kinda like Elvis. He thinks he is the king and allegedly is seen from time to time, but leaves mysteriously.

I listen to 4 different carolla podcasts regularly.

Whenever I have a patient that I can't figure out, I tell them they have stumped the chump. Most get it, but sometimes I have to explain.
