The ToC is going up Mt Baldy today. Looks like fun.

I was planning to ride up and watch, but went up another, quieter mountain instead.

Still kinda wish I'd gone.

Aren't you in the desert?

You and heathpack should boat race.

So, I sometimes put used Gu packets under my shorts leg gripper until I pass a trash can.

Clever. I know.

Today, a Gu pack must not have been completely empty, and I ended up with Gu gel dried in the leg hair.

I'll spare you the photos.

They dam up all the rivers, so there are some good reservoirs to sail on.

I nominate you for sainthood.

Take it to Havasu and go nuts on spring break.

I am way chill on the water. I like fast bikes but slow boats.

Thank goodness you've got some balance.

So I guess I can say it now, since the corporate people actually came by today: we have been sold to a corporation. I knew this day would come but expected it would be five years or so from now.

Not something I wanted to happen but I find myself surprisingly zen about it. It's outta my control.

What's the impact on me? No idea. For the immediate foreseeable future, nothing. My contract will be honored as written but could be renegotiated at any time. I will likely get a 401k match, which I haven't had. We get two less paid holidays.

Oh yeah and I get a new MRI. :)

Commander Cody is the extended Addiction name for Pcad's "new" hound (who must be getting on to two years old by now).

But apart from that, tell us more about the why and wherefore of sharing the whiskey with CC. You have piqued my interest.

Do you shave your legs? If not, then I can add "OUCH!!"

Also, if I happen to be a bit careless with the drink bottle slopping mix on my legs, I will get the hair pull on each pedal stroke sometime later. Annoying but not painful.

Do vets have KPIs or performance stats that indicate productivity?

Probably something to look forward to.
