Guy in our tech department has a Corsair that's blinged out like that with the color changing keys. It's cool as heck I'll agree. I've already got my keyboards between the Filco Ninja at home and the Filco Majestouch here. When one dies, I might be tempted to go bling bling.

Not sure how often you have been in Spain/overseas, but an item I find when out of country is everyday there are multiple occurrences in which I have no control, do not understand what is happening, or unable to do what I expected. If the insurance is inexpensive, may just be worth the peace of mind.

Since snark is apparently allowed: If you never let bike out of sight....plan on sleeping with it? It is pretty :)..

No more excuses either.

I was in Knoxville over the weekend on my way to Gatlinburg. Did not see Velo Vol or balaklava's.

Also, did not get eaten by a bear, which is nice.

I get off the trail (after cutting it a few miles short). Pick up my back tire and spin it... it goes literally 6" before stopping. Yup, that's it.

So I've got a brake drag issue. They just bled the brakes last week when they replaced the levers. After that I put new pads on (couldn't before because they were out of stock). Now it's like there's too much fluid in there. You can barely touch the levers before they engage, and they were free before the ride, but as it went on the rears were dragging hard.

So what's the fix? Do I need ANOTHER bleed, or is this a simpler fix?

You lost me at "bled the brakes". I could say I told you so about discs, except I didn't.

I don't have accounts in either of those places.

I don't know how you could get in too much fluid unless the cylinders were already pushed out a bit when it was bled (maybe too skinny of a bleed block?).

First I'd check that it's actually both pads engaging and not simply calipers that need to be re-centered on the disc.

If both pads are dragging, I'd try pushing the cylinders back in (wheel off, pads out, and use the flat of a tire lever to wedge/push them in), slapping it back together and seeing what happens after repeatedly actuating.

If you can't actually push them in, then maybe there is too much fluid, but I would think that simply attaching the bleed cup at the lever (so the fluid has someplace to go without just oozing all over) while pushing in the cylinders would be all that's necessary - so not a real bleed.

Apparently a place not for Trsnrtr or Wifi to let Mrs Trsnrt or Mrs Wifi to know about or share friends.

For everyday use, it can be a little much. I have mine set to something absurdly low, like 10% brightness, otherwise it's just too distracting. Same thing with motion/color changing - too fast and it draws too much attention; gotta be relatively slow or not at all.

So, the figs are ripening on the trees in my backyard. They are the weakness of Eeyore the Basset hound and I have to keep chasing him away from the trees as he finally realized they are ready to be picked. He got away from me this afternoon and was in the process of stripping entire branches off in an effort to eat fruit. When I finally got him back inside he flopped on the floor, I thought worn out from his efforts. I tried to give him "the look," in an effort at discipline but the little bastard just looked right back up and licked his chops while he has looking me directly in the eye. I was out-looked and possibly out-snarked by my own dog. :(.

Do you mean their clothes are . . . skimpy? I'll need to review those contacts before I can answer your question. :innocent:

Yes. My wife has already got that job.

I got a new follower on twitter. Her name is Gianna. She's a model and an actress.

My theory is that they didn't use a bleed block, they just left everything assembled on the lower end (since none of that was replaced, just the levers). Kind of like topping off your master cylinder when you have worn pads on your car, then you put new pads in, and there's nowhere for the fluid to go.

I'll take it by tomorrow after work. You give me hope that they can fix it quickly and not even try to charge me anything, since it's not likely to require a full bleed.

I got it even cheaper, the battery cable was corroded through, so that'll be a super cheap fix. We tested it out with vice grips. Punk wanted his vice grips back, so I had to knock some off the price :)

Or rather, haven't bothered 'pulling the trigger' on pedals, since I am pretty sure I'll get Keo Blades or 105s. I feel like trekmogul with my shiny new shoes just sitting there on my shelf, with their fancy packaging, extra laces, and everything.

I just pulled the trigger and ordered the Giro Empires yesterday. I'm too curious about how they will aero test. I wound up going with the black & silver though, instead of black & lime green. More matchy to all the bikes.

Niiiice. Mine are all black, I've got the non-ultra-light version. Sweet shoes. I hope you find they're ultra fast so that I can start winning some races.

I tell Doglet to do something and she stares me straight in the eye and says, "no".

I lose every time.

Then she makes a point of liking Mr H way more because he's not nearly as bossy.

Very manipulative.

Tomorrow we get the new puppy. I'm hoping she's more compliant.
