Nice. You know what bird that is? Me neither.

Called out a guy for never pulling, letting gaps open, and yet always being there for the sprints on the local Tuesday night fastish ride. I think it was a gap I had about closed when he attacked around me up to the break (that he let go) that annoyed me just a bit too much to remain silent.
He was defensive, but there is really no defending something that really does not matter. |

I guess its time to step out from the shadows. Been a long time lurker...some may call me a stalker. . Didn't mean to crash the Strava user group, but looks like I did - sorry for that. Of course, it may look like I was trying to inflate my miles per post (mpp) by preloading miles :) Sometimes its more enjoyable just to listen, rather than try to make an impression So while I may not still not know what this thread is about. I will offer the following insights:

Riley had a play date at the pool with the neighbors golden doodle (also ~1 year old) Sunday evening. He is still nursing a play hangover.

SwtBadger , first post and you made it in Addiction? What were you thinking? :foo:
WELCOME! :thumb: |
Today we rode bikes, the weather was fine. Flat little easy ride along the cliffs, mostly easy. It ends with a gnarly 0.25ish mile 15% hill, which doesnt sound so bad as I write it here now but it's daunting when you are at the bottom of it. Loose dirt and rocks and rutted sections but really what's daunting is those uber steep little sections in the 17-20% range.
Anyway rode up the entire thing today for the second time ever. Wound up with a HR 10 bpm over threshold. Painful! But feels good to be able to do it. :) Tomorrow we are planning on: more bikes. :) :) :) http://i771.photobucket.com/albums/x...9210CA7B38.jpg |

Hey Heathpack, when you say "we" are riding, does that mean you and Mr H?

Another cloudy misty dreary day in the NE. Still gonna ride. I predict low attendance at today's club ride, some people are afraid to get their bikes dirty. Their loss.

Not just anyone can leave in a huff. You have to have a certain status. You don't qualify. Now that you are here, you are stuck for a good, long time. It is somewhat like the Hotel California.
