Yeah, I had the ecru at first. The main color was okay, but it was the hardest combination to match with accessories I have ever encountered. The trim was maroon and silver. What goes with that. Well, let me tell you, nothing.

And you have to take into account the addiction factor. How many people do you know who are addicted to buttered toast, as opposed to, say,...........
sugar? |

I agree, but you also have to define "slice" My slice would be about 8" around... :)

Oh I've got an idea, how about a cheesecake? http://i75.photobucket.com/albums/i3...2/IMG_3406.jpg By the way, duck eggs work just as well as chicken eggs. I haven't had enough dessert tonight. (Heads back to the fridge.) |

You know, if people would look at the numbers they would be shocked to discover that a slice of plain cheesecake is only 257 calories. Compare that to 2 slices of buttered wheat bread which ring in at 336 calories. Shock indeed.
Even if you look at the sugar intake, sure the cheesecake has sugar. But what do you think that bread is going to turn into within a couple of hours of consumption? That's right, sugar, the debil. So that's my alibi and I'm sticking with it. |

The ecru was a pretty bike, though. :thumb:
I can't even find any reference to the group set I used. It was that cream colored, painted 600 level that only lasted a few years. I mean in the marketplace, not on the bike. Can't remember the name. I think it began with an S. |

Sure, but my problem was just starting with a bare frame. I didn't have access to the right color trim like tape, saddle, etc. So it was always black.

Off to the doctor this morning. Had a cough for three weeks and waited to be relatively sure it wasn't a cold. Don't want to waste the doc's time.
Anyway, can only ride short distances and have to keep my HR down or fatigue and coughing settle in. A couple times lately, I worried about getting home about 10-12 miles in to the ride. Question: Should I take this to the 50+ forum? |

Well so many people throw down bread without giving it a second thought. I suspect partially because it's not fatty, so it doesn't pose a threat. But yeah, mostly it's a habit, they're addicted.

Pink groupset? I need to get one.

The second wheel I ever built was on a Santè front hub. I really like the look of the hubs; the rest not so much. That wheelset is still going strong.
White was the only color. |

Popped into the forum, saw the MILLSTEIN LIGHTWEIGHT whatever wheels thread locked, thought the worst, found out it was really the best possible ending and simply veered into diet advice. Sometimes the 41 surprises me.

Addiction needs to keep its monopoly on off-topic posting.
EDIT: I see a new competing thread has already popped up though. |

It really fell apart when OP figured out how to post photos right side up. |
