Me too. So disappointed.

Also, it's "etc..."

A word to the wise. If you talk about anything but food here, you'll likely get your arm gnawed off.

[in my best VeloVol voice]: Why would the roofer want to talk about food?

How do you feel about leaving your bike there?

Good point, and yes, I see my mistake. Though, if a roofer hung out around here long enough, he would certainly be talking about food.

We were in our new place about a week when one of these "roofers" came by and told me he could see hail damage on our roof from a storm. I told him we were new and were not aware of a storm since we had been in the house. He cited a storm that occurred the previous July and said he was fixing a lot of damage from it.

I showed him a picture of the empty dirt lot that was our house at that time.

Workswell is the cheapest and very good. Frames only. No wheels.

Should have said, thinking of wheels.

Slippery slope.

Maybe, but I own the car and intend to drive it into the ground, so any impact the dings would have on future resale value is largely moot.

Why do you suppose refrigerator has no "d" but fridge does? Weird.

If only we had a linguistics expert to help explain these things :innocent:

I kind of thought that might be the case. I like onlycarbonwheels on eBay. Also lightbicycle.com has some nice rims and wheels. I just built a pair of those for a "customer".

My guess: It's slang for refrigerator that has its origin in Frigidaire.

Phone advice needed:

Have the iPhone 7 now. I know it's not "waterproof", rather it's just "water resistant". Still, should I bother putting it in a plastic baggie when I ride with it in my pocket? It's in a case, but I'm thinking sweat would be bad for it regardless of supposed durability.
