Well, probably the most time-consuming is this basketball tournament for HS kids aimed to improve their academic achievement and get into college. That entails an 85 mile drive to the city four days a week, shooting 2 games, 85 miles back home, then half the next day processing photos. Then repeat. It's a labor of love.

In MTB there's 6-bolt and Centerlock (which is a splined mount). Haven't really paid much attention to road discs, but I'd imagine they'd go with the same standards, or maybe just one of 'em.

Did 30.66 miles today in 75 degree dew point at noon. Thankfully, I was only going 75%. Did not need a vest or arm warmers.
To recap the past 24 hours: vinyl is good, serviceable bottom brackets are bad compared to a cartridge BB, tubeless is now bad, tubulars are now good, visors are bad but a cycling cap under a helmet, albeit hot as hell, is good. This thread is about food or photography, seeds ain't hip to avant garde John Lennon or Styx and Billy D is busy in August. Oh yeah vests are the best thing ever.
What did I miss, please advise. Thanks.

Pikes Peak. It's much steeper as it approaches 14,000 feet. Plus, the race starts at 7:00 am, because the road has to be open to cars by 9:00, I believe. Not to mention the weather thing that goes on above treeline. It's really a different world up there, and weather moves in pretty early.
