Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

My wife lost one of the bags of groceries so I don't have any land o lakes butter, or mayo, and she doesn't have any fruit cups for her lunches. That's what happens when you bring 3 kids grocery shopping!

I went grocery shopping. Typically, I grab a cart from the cart corral in the parking lot. This time I scored a bag of groceries with some Land O Lakes butter, mayo and fruit cups.

Duh! Everyone wants to post about "Professional Repair of Tubulars". No time for Addiction.

Was the picture on the carton modified by some juvenile delinquent?

Not this one. But, when I went into the store I saw an older fellow wearing a bike shirt, shorts and helmet vandalizing the Land O Lakes packages in the dairy section. I alerted the manager and the police soon arrived. The fellow and his tandem bike were being hauled off to the slammer while his wife was trying to hide from embarrassment.

She did not notice the missing groceries though since she had the kids put everything away. It wasn't until I asked where the mayo was this morning, when I was making a sammich for lunch, that the missing bag was noticed.

We had sweet corn last night, but for some strange reason my wife decided to buy FROZEN corn on the cob despite the fact that we live in a town that is literally surrounded by corn fields. There is a farmer's market every Saturday and several random booths set up in various business' parking lots selling corn daily.

Such a thing doesn't exist here. If we want corn on the cob, we harvest the field (tortilla) corn early.

29 to go and it's Wednesday already, and the second slow day in a row. Blame the Professional tubular repair thread.

I don't think we can blame a [barely] two page thread. Addictionites are just being plain lazy this week.
