Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

True. Those are the ones who need smart trainers to do the work for them.

They're all hanging out on the south side of my house.

They're everywhere in the Spring. I've even found them in my coffee.

How about on top of your coffee maker? Or, is that reserved for ladybugs?

I don't have a coffee maker. I do need to check the electric kettle, before I add water though.

I've boiled a boxelder bug on more than one occasion.

I know I'm late to the trainer thing but that never stopped me from putting 2¢ in before.

I hate trainers. I own a power meter which I like. I have Zwift and a Wahoo Kickr and I still hate trainers. Zwift didn't help at all.

I've never noticed them before last year. I thought they were coming in with the climate change, from south to north.

A year ago today my trauma doctor wrote on my orders that I could start riding... my trike, only in the granny, and 6-10 miles, and watch out for dizziness. I still had a fentanyl patch and she was worried that I'd overheat it which I did the second time out on a 90º day. Felt like a drunken sailor when I got off the trike and could hardly walk into the house.
