I thought it was only tri geeks who liked sleeveless. Anyway, I know you're mocking a thread, but I'd love a good long-sleeve summer jersey that costs somewhere south of the $260 for the Giordana Exo. I am not about that farmer tan life, sunblock sucks, and even sunblock has trouble keeping up with the Texas sun for more than a couple of hours.

edited to add: not knowing anything about the Exo, I looked it up - R&A has one or two in M, L & XL on closeout for $104 in black/titanium.

I was planning on doing my first metric of the year and the boy has his last field trip of the school year today... and then we woke up to wind and rain, which may scuttle both of our plans unless it clears soon.
I am more bummed for him that for me, but I'm still a little bummed for me.

Mainly just Boulder 70.3. I didn't think "these conditions are perfect for my goals"; that was just the weather for the open track night at COTA, and with AG out I had no reason to go home until they kicked me out or my legs gave up. My goal was to get 50 miles, but that wasn't in the cards after the riding last weekend. Though at least the weekend rides start in the morning and only approach 90* or so by the end.

First and foremost, my greens suggestions were originally directed at Velo Vol, in Knoxville Tennessee, where it's nowhere near as hot as south Texas. How the greens arrived in south Texas is anybody's guess.
And of course I was just busting your chops, based partially and maybe unfairly on some dining information you've provided here and there in the past. And call me thin-skinned, but I was also struggling to ignore your planet comment, perhaps equally unsuccessfully. As they say, one good chops bust deserves another.

Signed up with ridewithgps. They allow out and back segments and appear generally more flexible than Strava. We'll see.

I'm currently being mesmerized by a Roomba making it's first plot of the house. It's been running over an hour and has yet to be baffled. It got into a couple nasty spots that I thought it would never get out of but it did.

Holy cow! A UP Hi-rail got rear ended in Wyoming. Article says no injuries.
