Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

What makes wired computers go bad? Maybe cleaning up the contacts would help. I bet Lester knows.
i am attempting to drop the chalupa and slowly back away from digital world. It's a big ask.

Even on an otherwise slow migration day I have a good chance of seeing the resident Peregrines. They increase their patrols during migration season, even though they're not protecting a nest this time of year. They're just badass.

Got him on either the face or the head. Minor laceration.

The guy is only 5' tall. During the press conference, someone asked if authorities had been worried that he would team up with another short man, put on a trench coat and try to make an escape that way. I'm not kidding. The trooper giving the conference just said "No." and quickly moved to the next question. I would have called him an idiot on live TV.

The geese around our office building have begun to gaggle in the parking lot. They march in long lines, hindering traffic.

Many years ago, outside of our old building, management decided to add some new landscaping. Problem was that they planted this low-growing foliage abutting the building walls. Turned out to be perfect cover for geese nests. One pair built a nest pretty close to the front door. People would often get harassed trying to enter the building. One morning our AVP of HR had to protect himself with his briefcase to prevent getting pecked.

I just realized that the consensus three best QBs in the AFC (and league...) all lost week 1.
