Those are fair-dinkum, un-muffled BMW demi-fond 650s.....only real men need apply.

You should hear them on a tiny indoor track....sounds like the end of the world.

531Aussie 03-21-06 11:38 PM

ha!! :) you guys see these on that "shoe strap" thread?

eh, I've got 4 'decent' bikes, so I could be on anything.

What colour's your Cokecandale?

I bagged the demi-fond on a thread in the track forum a few months ago. You reckon the demi-fond fan club (all four of them) didn't come out of the woodwork to cane me. I must have blasphemied or somthing.

Personally, I've always found black leather, handlebar taches and big motorbikes to be a bit gay

thunder 03-21-06 11:51 PM

blue, but old with a ****ty mix of components and tri bars. :D

I do my reputation no favour with those admissions. Will upgrade when the money starts flowin and get something nice. So I can see if I can beat Berny is C grade crits :D

Maybe a Ciombola. Any reccommendations?

That'd be awesome thunder. Cheers!
We were at the museum the other week but had the rugrats with us so had to give it a miss. Any chance to get out together is a real treat for us.

Interesting ebay item
not that I would buy it. I dont even know why 1) why they made it and 2)why you would buy it

thunder 03-22-06 04:50 AM

MR Kotter, simple, you buy it on ebay if you want a new dura ace gruppo, they go for what $1,800, Ksyriums another grand. You buy it and chop shop it for parts.

Then you try and create a stress fracture in the BMW frame from some generic chinese carbon fibre out sourcer (which will have weaknesses and wall sizes 1/3 of some cf Treks or Cannondales), and you go back to a BMW showroom on the Saturday morning and cause a huge fuss in the showroom in their busiest time. You then try and get a refund on the frame :D, or if not you prevent some accountants or realestate salesman from purchasing at that BMW franchise by creating a huge scene.
