Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

What are you, a Uni student?

Let me translate: Make sure the declared value is under $1000. By the way, they include shipping costs in that figure. Also, many of the USPS services are not trackable. It's a numbers game, but we never lost a package.

Oh, on a side note, I just noticed that the weight of my freight was 7,700lbs. Apparently, that's what we loaded into the container that day.

Cadel Evans

Cadel Evans has Hunter syndrome.

Rare genetic syndrome, worse case scenario, may shorten his life expectancy, and almost cruel his career or certainly finish it depending on degree.

Best case, with treatmeant, may be able continue on his upward curve.

Bad news, but late onset has a better prognosis for longevity. He'll be hoping he misses some of the badderer symptoms like joint stiffness and carpel tunnel issues. It's too late for his butt-ugly melon though

Bikes: Kona Zing & Conder Cone

Strange mix of ANZAC afternoon entertainment - watching surfers in the ENORMOUS storm generated surf (biggest I've seen in years on the East coast) while a Mescherschmidt ME-109 does aerobatics overhead.

Guys are paddling for 20 minutes or more to get out the back for a 1-2 minute ride if they can crack the bottom turn. Then walk back up the beach to paddle back out.

Took a spin to Mornington at 7.30am. It was an awesome day with heaps of bikes on the road. The only downer was the 2 punctures from the broken bottles. Damn those brain dead nuffies who throw crap outta their cars.

Well said!

BTW, if you want to tell the genuine article from implants without getting your face slapped just look for the telltale bag outline - usually in the cleavage area, but sometimes out at the side.
