ha, 177.5 is nothing. I have a mate who needs 205 cranks. They only come as custom jobbies.

wack on the budgies and go the waxing if you have the balls ! It hurts like a bastard but last a long time. You may also get some ingrowns, just gotta be careful.

.....which includes Shimano's view: "Shimano even goes so far as to say that its own in-house research suggests that round rings actually perform better, particularly in race situations and if the rider already has a good pedal stroke. According to Shimano's Jasen Thorpe, "The current set of non-round rings adversely affect cadence since your legs are moving at a non-constant speed. Since the motion is not constant, there is more energy required to repeatedly re-accelerate a rider's feet. The differences are subtle, but subtle is everything at this level." Interestingly, these comments would also apply to Shimano's own Biopace non-round chainring offerings which the company quietly dropped in the early 90s after failing to win widespread acceptance among riders. |
He's a qualified Serotta fitter so he knows his fit quite well. His nickname is Stretch, and rides something like a 62 or larger with monster long stems.
He was looking for some 180s recently, although 205 would be his ideal. I'll let him know you have some Oz. |

Now this brings up a viewing dilemma, MotoGP or TdF? Decisions, decisions. |
motogp will be replayed on fox tomorrow morning, so just go deaf to any sports results and set the tape ;)

PShaw, you missed a good ride early today at Ourimbah, did you get out? I rode all the new trails, very cool !! Yeah Climbo, mornings aint workin at the moment, so sorry I missed you. I rode around lunchtime from Palmdale side, straight up then across to the XC for 2 laps then back over (~40kms) legs are sore now. 2 front wheel washouts, one slow one fast...more bark off when the front end dug in and sent me OTB. And rode that rocky rollover in kincumber the other day, sat at top thinking then one pedal and over. Really sketchy run-off. Mate went OTB in a huge way, slid along on his chest on the only patch of leaf litter around and pulled up with his head about 2mm short of a a nicepointy rock  I slo discovered a new piece of singletrack on the right hand side, I also now know how to get to that freeride(ish) section...we need to get out. You still on SS? Oh, and congrats Jock on the track! |
A mate who waxes told me his local "salon" wont give him a back/sack/crack for insurance purposes....?
I case they turn him into a ***********? |

And a final word of warning: never ever use your wifes blade coz they're always blunt, dangerous, and infected with girl-couties. Only a certified masochist would use the EpiLady - if ya wanna rip your hair out by the roots, go straight to waxing. BTW, once you have cleared the initial heavy timber, you should be able to keep the regrowth under control with a cheaper blade than the Mach III. The Gillette Daisy (cute girly pink thing :D ) will manage it just fine, despite being a double blade. My blades are only blunt after hubby's been at them and a healthy dose of girl cooties will help you get in touch with your feminine side. :roflmao: |
