Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Oh, that! Yeah, um, one of them had jock itch (with apologies to my mate) so he let the other bat first.

This is The Aussie Thread, no jokes allowed! Serious stuff here, matey. And never off topic, it's always about cycling. Road bikes. Skinny tires.

BTW, I worked out riding gives me a black sac, not over eager nurses (sadly). Is it only me? Maybe I should start a thread? With a poll even!

McGrath has always batted at 11 hasn't he?

I always knew Warnie was right and would win the $50 eventually

Pretty much. I think he's batted at 10 a few times when McGill's played. I think they might have taken the piss and put him up to 10 after he scored his 50 as well.

What was Warnies bet?

When Mcgrath was still averaging under 2 runs a bat years and years ago, Warne made a bet with Waugh (steve) that he would one day make a test half century. Steve disagreed, the bet was $50.

Im glad Warnie won. I wish id seen Mcgrath make that 50, but was in America at the time

Flak, your avatar may need a bit of work, but it's priceless.

What is it with you guys and your friggin scrotes? You and HDT should work together to find a solution for your respective testicular tendernesses.

Bikes: Scapin EOS7 sloping, 10v Record, Ksyriums

Nearly fell off my friggen chair this morning......reading the Bay Crits start list, #64 Ray Forbes!!!!

One of the funniest, craziest, borderline nutbags you'll ever meet. Would turn up on the Hell Ride in July wearing shorts, jersey, no socks oiled-up like a Turkish wrestler.

Piss funny.

Paid a shedload for some exotic Ducati road missile from the States.....then tried to motorpace us on it down Beach Rd!!! More hilarity...

Motorpace behind a Duke? I'd like to try that. If only I could find my 108 tooth chainring.

So you're saying your sac's never been black? You sure? You ever looked? Maybe there's a whole pandemic of black sacs out there in the riding community but it's going unnoticed since everyones to scared to put their head between their legs, flip their snag and have a look? It could be the end of our species as we know it! Look to your sacs! Look to your sacs before it's to late!!!

Not really....Andreas Kappes. It's a stayers or demi-fond bike.

The front wheel is 24 inch to get right in behind the pacer and over the front wheel.
