Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Who can tell? The only time you can tell that you're in reality is when you tread on lego, kick your little toe into the breakfast table, get whacked in the ghoulies by some snot nosed brat, or laugh up coke through your nose. At all other times what you believe that you are experiencing might as well just be fantasy.

When did they finish that new bit of the Hume (I thought I was lost), and are those new 3 camera-looking thingies (there's 2 sets of them), those timer speed cameras?

you been there before? The 65km road from Benalla to Yarrawonga is a bit dodgey: bit narrow and bumpy

I reckon the weather patterns are just getting back to how they were 25 years ago. We've even had a few of the old Southerly Busters scream up the coast this summer. Haven't seen them in years.
Summer hasnt hit here yet,{late Jan, Feb -March are the warmest} though wind all along the coast is epected this time of year ,the fremantle doctor{off the ocean breaze }. There wasnt any other riders out, not suppised, I was was riding down hill, 30kmh in into a head wind on the open road and thinking im going now where fast and having to ride 20kms to get home, took to the back streets to get out of the breeze.
Global warming and farming in the same sentence, sends shivers down most peoples spines

Ouch! Just booked a container and 2 tickets. That hurt my wallet. It's official now, my departure date is February 8.

Regarding the Australian cricket team, I'd like to know why Stuart Charles Glyndwr MacGill was batting at #10, and Glenn Donald McGrath at #11 in the 11-man batting list. Usually it's the other way 'round
