But remember it was exactly the same for me 2 years ago. Took a loooooong time (over 12 months) to get to a level where I could actually race D grade and stay with them. I've only been able to keep up with Dawn Patrol since last October, and I still find that difficult in some sections. But then I meet bastids like climbo who trains like 2 days a year and then blows me away on the first little bump that turns up. I hate that. [edit]mornin' climbo :D [/edit] |
RSA lead by 255, but only 4 wickets left. If the rain holds off and we get them out before lunch then we could have a cracker finish.
|
Oh goody! Cricket! :D
|
Speaking of climbing, the crits are slated to run reverse on Sunday at Ourimbah meaning an uphill finish. Weather looks good too! Gonna be there lads?

287 off 76 overs. Very brave declaration. Evil number that to.
|
setting the aussies less than 4 an over is like a red flag to a bull....

Sore legs from walking? Sounds odd. Could be somethin simple like you need some sort of orthothic in your shoes, or some muscular imbalance that can be fixed by a physio. If you are blind or visually impaired it could be that you need to be more careful around furniture. |

If the aussie's come out swingin they'll either finish it off by tea or collapse in a screamin heap |

They know good and well they aren't going to win the series. I think it was a good sporting dec too. Kudos to RSA.
Going to be like a one dayer out there now :) |
haydn's plodding, langer's itchy to get on with it.
I reckon they'll make a decision whether to press on or not at lunch |

After about 5 or 6 maybe 200KM+ weeks I was as fit as I have been. (pretty unfit really :o ) Then track season started and I basically stopped riding the road bike and started training for track 3 nights racing 1 night. The first few weeks were ok and I was moving up the grades going well, then the pain started until just before xmas I had to stop. What I now realise is that I was ok at the start as i had some degree of bike fitness but as I started to hammer myself on the track with no other 'base' cycling or strength to fall back on, my body has started to complain. I had a really slow road ride last week and felt better at the end although can still feel pulling through the thigh/ass-cheek/back. so my plan is to get back on the roadie an get some miles under my belt to strengthen the body whil managing the injury. Sound feasible? |
Langers a bum. Gnome will be growing a white beard soon. P1ss him off. Hussey should be up there.

Warnie? The fat bum who still think's he's a kid but with the back of a 80 year old from all the teenage girls he's been rooting instead of taking care of his family, who took a few wickets last year at a gazzillion runs per wicket cause Ponting (who Klink would make a better captain than) bowled him from one end the entire year, who's just going to sit back on his laurels and bowl like a bum (to match Langers batting like a bum, and Ponting captain like a bum) until he can get over to England for another ashes series so he can go root a few more teenagers.
Warnies got nothing. I would have flogged him everytime I faced him if Pidgeon didn't cut my career short (can't call him a bum or it'd look like sour grapes. ;) ). :p [Edit] Thought of a better captain. |

Anyone know a decent coach that can work a track program in with a road program properly? |
I like MacGill. At least he's not a bogan, :p
Hey Sacco, do you know if I can get Carlton Black down here, and is it expensive? |
I hope Warnie doesn't get the dreaded "Black sac" from rooting all those pommie girls.
