Then lets stick with 7:00am Saturday. I'll be watching the clock myself, kids get cranky when daddy is late especially after not seeing him for a week. I hate conflicts of interest like that.
What time do we need to get you home by? 9:30 kosher? |
Yeah, that works. Gives me time to have a bit of brekky, shower, etc.
[edit] Yes, you'll need to strap the Silca to your misspelled Giant. |

berny, your not alone. I'm so far down the tree I couldn't be bothered following the local scene, even when the internationals come down to play. Just follow the progress of the Aussies and anyone whose name ends with the letters 'OV' in the Tour. |
So Sat is the day, I'll see what the weekend is looking like and let you know. Is it a ride or a coffee excursion? i.e. bring the road bike or the single speed cruiser?
|
Coffee excursion. Bring the SS and give us a break.

What?
only troops I know of are Expat and his missus, kotter, climbo, meself and yoself. Can't see how I can organise any of them. berny put his hand up to do hours of undulations afterwards :) |
Southerly just hit Sydney Airport. No rain on the radar yet tho. Conditions could turn out OK for racing tonight.
<-- crosses fingers |
The missus and poochie will probably not be joining us.

The "Goodbye, Farewell, Auf Wiedersein, Goodnight Ride for Mr & Mrs Expat, Their Dawg, and the Ti Tandem" is Saturday 14 Jan 2006, meeting at cnr Howe & Croudace Sts LAMBTON at ~7:00am. Latecomers can meet up on the Foreshore (Newcastle Harbour) near the old tugboat wharves at ~7:30am. Pace will be cruisey, and the ride will definitely be interrupted by a long stay at some place what sells melted crayons. BYO tissues. Expat, bring the missus and the Ti Tandem. Back to Lambton by 9:30 so Expat can get to work. Who works on a Saturday? Haven't you ever heard of a sickie? The recovery ride afterwards will be a 2-3hrs of undulations at a sedate 35kmh :D |
If you click on the attachement, you can just see Jock in the edge of the circle.
