Thats a little too close for comfort. Perhaps its Rudmilla?
Did a fun group ride today with 18 people, which. Makes for one long paceline - but Im not complaining since I benefitted. It should have been broken into two groups to give vehicles a better chance to pass on winding 2 lane country roads. We covered cities and rural areas with wonderful river views and odiferous cow pastures. On the flats we ran about 21 MPH and considerably less on 3,400 of climbing. The nice thing is that it is a no-drop ride and we regroup on the tops of the long climbs. One guy had a sidewall cut and a couple of others stopped and helped him get it resolved in a snap while the rest waited ahead. Another good thing about this group is that its not like riding a Slinky with slow and fast and slow and fast. Since it was a hilly route, my strategy was to hold off until the final two climbs since they are the worst. It was fun then to drop the youngsters who had been blasting up past me on the earlier climbs. Something about the treachery of old age . We also rode through three rallies today, filled with people cheering for their/my cause.. Total mileage was almost 55 and felt really good at the end. Legs are tired now.

Quick break.

Bikes: I've lost count.
went for a nice day trip with the local tramping club. legs are a bit tired today. I blame all the river crossings and the uphill. It can't be my lack of fitness.
Still it was a good day out. And any day in the hills is better than a day at home.

I took the light rail, instead. It was like being back in NYC - jam-packed and someone **** themselves.

I had chorizo stuffed chicken breast with rice, charro beans and a slathering of queso on Friday night. Yesterday was mid-afternoon chicken and waffles. Today turkey breast, potatoes and apple pie.
