My son played trumpet in middle school, but they had an abundance of trumpet players when he joined the HS band in the fall, so he volunteered to move to the French horn. I honestly can't tell if he's enjoyed the change or if he's just trying to convince himself that it was a good move. He's pretty much guaranteed an A in band, though, so maybe that was his motivation all along.
It's no trumpet, obviously.

there are so many studies on exercise and aFib. this is a good meta study among the many
https://academic.oup.com/europace/ar...uestAccessKey=

approximately 5 times the risk for aFib! the study on cyclists specifically is kind of interesting, it compared actual former professional cyclists to golfers of similar age and other characteristics.
https://academic.oup.com/eurheartj/a...9/1/71/2398434
unfortunately the study did not correct for the fact that golf is a horrible, horrible thing to spend your time doing and anyone who has ever ridden a road bike would rather be an aFib-ridden-cyclist than a stable-sinus-rhythm-golfer.

Me gusto los YouTubes. They help me spend mucho dinero. Yesterday I learnt about using a cheap solar panel and combo converter/battery to provide power to my shed and keep my tractor battery charged and provide much needed lighting and an outlet.

Not well. I'm concerned. I came home from a ride yesterday to find her vomiting. I'm afraid the ER doc missed something. She's supposed to start soft foods today.
She's never had a fever that I know of.

I usually have 8-10 bottles at any given time. Usually one mild (Valentina, Crystal, Tabasco, Frank's, etc), one mustard-forward, one with some good fermented funk, one that's smoky, and a few that are just a little too hot for everyday use.

My sister played the French horn, from high school through college. Always on rented/borrowed instruments, because who can afford to buy one? Strange instrument, the French horn. You rest the bell on your thigh and the sound goes away from the audience.

The music department at my son's high school seems to do pretty well via fundraisers, etc. They were able to provide my son with two French horns - one new and quite nice, the other has been around the block, but still competent - so that he doesn't have to lug the heavy beast back and forth between home and school.

The piano we own is what I would call a starter piano. I think I paid like 3.5 grand for it brand new, abt 7 years ago. It's a 48" tall upright Hallet & Davis. Goes out of tune in like 6 months and has some sticky keys. Before, I was renting a 48" tall Kawaii. Grew up with a Kawaii baby grand at home and a couple more in the extended fam. Those are good pianos.

Fun fact: for marching band, they usually do NOT have french horns so the default choice for a horn player is a mellophone.
