Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Sweet...love the black with red highlights and the satin finish titanium. All of us thank you for removing the Scattane decals

My only question...was the saddle prescribed by a proctologist?

Thanks for the compliments.

No proctologist for the saddle; I tried out a few (thanks to my LBS for their generous exchange policy on the saddles) and my butt liked this one the best.

I just added this info to my build thread, as well as the process for applying new decals.

Build thread:
https://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?t=587489

Begin with "kitchen grade" pad (the green kind) for bad scratches. Then finish entire bike with the "grade A" kind (brown color). Cut into thin 1" strip. then quickly, briskly, and lightly buff over tubes up and down in a uniform pattern on the frame (around the tubes... not long ways). Do this for while. Eventually it will begin to look like a new frame. I also use steel wool super fine grade which is #0000. in between. Scotch brite, then steel wool, then finally scotch brite again. Got ithe steel wool and grade-a scotch brites at local hardware store. Once done... I hit it with a soaking of windex...wipe it down, then buff it with Pledge. Looks awesome. Go get a six-pack, make sure your not rushed, and spend a few hours. It pays off.

I posted this over in the "what road bike do you have" thread,
but did not get much love.

The Litespeed is my new bike, full Dura Ace 7800 gruppo with a 7900 series crank.
I got it NOS, frame had never been set up.
It just wants to go fast. I am able to rip 40-50 miles very comfortably at ~18mph average.
I plan to upgrade the wheels (Xero XRG currently) to Mavics or Reynolds or something else I can track a good deal down on..

Next up is a Lynskey HB 330 or Helix.

^Nice. That looks like a 7800DA crank though. Which personally I think looks nicer than the 7900 cranks.

Thanks Soil Sampler.

I love my bike, the decals are a bit much but it rides like a dream.

On inspection I was mistaken it is a 7800 series crank, thanks for the heads up.

That Soul bike is the schizznet!

How do you like the Soul wheels???

Im thinking of getting Soul 4.0's to replace the Xerolite xrg3's on my Litespeed.

I love all the grey matter, Ti bikes rule!

Ride on!
