Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Bikes: Lynskey R330 Chris Bishop custom steel road bike

Finally arrived last night.

Lynskey R330 with a Rival build. I'm coming off a C'dale 2.8 with friction downtube shift levers....after a 55 mile ride today I can defintatly say ....it was worth the wait. This thing is so smooth.....it reminds me of riding the Cannondale with soft tires - stiff but not nearly as harsh.

I'm still playing with the steerer tube spacers......will probably take them all off and cut the top of the tube.

Im really interested in the weight of the bike dressed out. I currently ride a 05 Litespeed Ultimate which is a a fantastic bike but I want to build up another Ti frame and the R330 is top of the list.
Lynskey does nopt list the frame wt on their website....I love the clean simple lines of the 330 its a beautiful machine!

With my ancient Time Racing pedals and a couple of American Classic alloy cages my R330 comes in at 17.2. I didn't build with an eye for weight........I just love the ride!

Yeah, went with the brushed. Easier to maintain. Also went with the etched logos for a cleaner look.

i like that way better than the standard cooper tubes, that bike looks great. I think the cooper is has the same geometry as the 330 and the only dif is the Cooper has non butted tubes, also the cut outs on the cooper chain/stay/seat stay juction is cooler with the clover cut out. how much does el super cooper weigh?

nice rides

Actually thats far from the truth. The tubes on the R330 are all shaped and the seat stays are helix shaped.

Bikes: Too many to count

All these USA Ti bikes are nice looking, but I am completely and totally DONE with the older, traditional external cup headsets.
