Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

It looks like a level 1, with straight seatstays. On the stock 1 & 2's (well, 2's in 2009, 1 & 2's in 2008) they had curved stays, and the level 2 has a slight diamond shape to the downtube - if I remember correctly. Looks though like the 'custom' part would be the stays, traditional geometry (i.e. non-compact), and the paint job... including paint on the fork (fork is probably a true temper alpha Q CS10 or 20). The overall geometry would technically be custom as well since all houseblend (stock) frames are compact.

EDIT: actually, I can't tell what fork that is. Not sure if it's an Alpha Q or not.

Either way... nice bike!

I guess I have more money than sense. Ive had other bikes, I started MTB first and then I got a commuter both aluminum and I didnt want that for a road bike. I actually got a really good deal on it.

What are you building it up with? (please say campy and some kick ass wheels)

I'm sorry, you can stop drooling.

2010 Force (which just arrived in a box today - Thanks Psimet!)
Seat post and stem - Thomson in silver
Wheels (will be a bit delayed as the rear hubs are still in production), Alchemy ORC and ELF hubs in silver, Sapim CXRay spokes in silver, Kinlin 300 in black.

Not quite US$10k, but getting damn close in AUD$.

I'll post a pic when I'm finished building it up. Got a bit excited when the frame pic arrived and had to post right away.
