Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Very nice. I was considering the AluC frame. How do you like this frame?

I really dig your bike.

Looks like you got the mismatched 105/Ultegra shifters at NAshbar -- looks like you beat me to it... They sold out

I just need a front and rear derailleur....

I just bought it new recently, and since it was an older model is didn't cost as much. It was priced similarly to the new 2007 Trek 1500 and Specialized Allez Elite, but

1. I didnt really like the colors of either of those 2 bikes
2. The cannondale frame was better, and overall it just had a better feel and overall appeal,
3. It was either this or the Trek 1200, but I thought the extra $300 kind of justified it.

You think Cannondale is bad.... check out "specialized" I read in a mag review of a high end "specialized" that they counted over 50!
