Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Yeah, I'm sure thats what it looks like unless it gets a close look. The hoods were that way when i got it, they actually feel fine though.

You have to pick a color for the bar tape. Either black or white but not both. It reallly takes away from a great looking bike.

Also check out this link and pick up some killer carbon matching cages for next to nothing.

How are they? That's pretty tempting, but... $28 for 2 CF cages? I'm a bit skeptical.

I got this link from someone on another site and he says they are very good. What do you have to lose, it is $28.00 for two carbon cages. If I did not already have 12 carbon cages, I would be all over these.

I'm guessing the frame isn't really the right size for you? Your handlebars are a mile from your headtube. Nice looking though. I like the colors on the frame. Definitely different.

Yeah, its a 58cm, which is a bit on the small side. The long stem is on purpose so I don't have to bend over too much.

My baby- 2003 Specialized Allez Elite; upgraded to Dura Ace 7800, FSA K-Force crank, Ritchey full Carbon PRO fork, Fizik Arione Saddle, FSA RD-400 wheelset, new Shimano 105 pedals.

The New addition- 2009 Schwinn madison; added Spot Rocket chain tensioner (2) and Specialized alloy bar 44cm (the original was 42cm, too narrow). No Pictures yet, only had for two days as of Nov. 6.

Others in the family- 2003 Specialized StumpJumper FSR, Old Skool Mongoose BMX (nice!), Old Skool Motobecane Touring.

I'm the fifth head from the left, in the yellow w/blue polka-dots and silver helmet in the foreground. I don't actually have any good pics of the bike by itself.

My windsor...it's been fine for a starter bike. It's a pig, but not as much of a pig as I originally estimated. 20.8 lbs with pump, pedals, and bottle cages. Still can't wait to upgrade.
