I already thought of a white saddle, but I would not change the bartape since I prefer black.
I also would not want to take off the stickers on the wheel, I always liked that whellset this way.

Thanks for the tip, I'll think about the white saddle!

I think it's a nice set up overall but agree with the others when it comes to a "hot" you gotta debadge a little bit on those wheels. I think a little logo work is fine but too much is well... too much!

I know that Speedvagen is a nice bike. But I can't get past the paint.

The Speedvagen doesn't look hot and I would have done it differently but it is still one of the nicest bikes on this thread in a while.

I'll bet it rides like melted butter.

Makes me think that the guys flexibility is not up to the task of the length of the cockpit.

The hoods are not as high as they seem. They look sticking up because of the angle of the bars and angle the picture was taken.

Either way, slammed saddle and shortened cockpit.

Bummer! What about the paint do you not like? I was torn between a few schemes but felt this looked racy and not over the top and would also stand the test of time fashion wise. In person it’s stunning and lustrous. I’ve not even done a mile on it yet shakedown is tomorrow about 40 miles, but it feels so nice in that brief moment in the saddle :)

Thanks! I hope so... of course the nice thing about a custom bike is that you can make it your own in every way!

Funny how my last bike which was mostly black (as always) fared better in this thread lol

Carbon over-kill on the wheels and bottles. The extra frame in the photo takes away and hides from the content.
Gawdy! :twitchy:

Well, it's been a few years... Domane is now gone as of a couple of weeks ago to help fund this project. I know the saddle will send some into a tizzy but here are the specs:

Custom Speedvagen, made to order, fitted to me. Steel all around but with a carbon seat tube, Envy forks, Envy seat mast topper. Pro Stealth bars painted to match. Dura Ace 9150 DI2 kit, Infinity Saddle, Easton SL90 wheels with White Industry hubs, tubeless Schwalbe tires. I have some new carbon wheels that will be going on once I receive the tires (also tubeless).

I haven't even taken it on the maiden voyage yet, but around the block it feels so different from the carbon Domane, weirdly smooth considering what my memories of steel are...

Seat stays are bent to order based on rider weight and size

I could put a Specialized saddle on it and she would still be hot. :P

Thank you!

For those that may not be a fan of the bike but still enjoy some different bike porn, check the dropouts... It's one of the little details that made me fall for the company.

Maybe it was my computer. Showing on one of the posts now! I love the Moots bikes and I bet they ride like a dream. I also like the look of the brushed and satin titanium. For me, when I was once looking at them, I just would have done a splash of color to break up the finish a bit. Lovely bike

Wait!!!
What???
You are meant to say, "looks like a POS brushed aluminium Giant from the 90's".
your saddle is too high and your bars too low.
Cranks, valve stems are placed incorrectly and you have bell on your handlebars.

What kind of amateur are you???

But thanks.
I love her, she is amazing.
