Updates to Parlee Z5 SLi....added brakes (black TRP R979 EQ), KMC X10SL DLC black chain, and used Hollowgram SL crank arms (apologies in advance for the green crankbolt, this was off fleabay so is shown as received, black crankbolts have been ordered to appease the Stealth Goddess)...weight as shown is 6.41 kg...

...to all have commented previously they they don't like blue bits....noted....

Hot! I'm probably in the minority, but I love the subtle blue touches and would probably get a matching blue seatpost clamp to finish it off.

Meh, it's alright I reckon. ;)

I wish the headset didn't end so far above the top tube, but still hot!

I agree with this. I like the subtleness of it.

I Approve! HOT!

Mansram01 04-05-13 10:38 PM

Love the Parlee but not sure about the blue bits. :)

Really Hot!

Here it is, back from the painter. A Giro/Baum inspired paint job, painted by Jack Kane of kanebikes.com.

A couple minor things to finish up... wire wrap the excess wires up front, chainstay protector. It was so easy to install and dial in the EPS system; it took more time dialing in the ZG brakes. I'll be taking it out for its first EPS ride tomorrow, and will take a much better pic out on the road.

Very nice, guys! This page is off to a smashing start - not the time to sneak in a commuter. ;)

Not, just too much color. Only black plastic bikes are hot, sorry. Maybe you could send it back to Jack and tell him to try to get it right this time. ;)

Although I can appreciate what you're trying to do here, it's just not my cup of tea. Hope you don't elicit more negative comments from drivers who aren't familiar with the Giro too. If I wanted more color, I probably would done a Belgian flag color scheme with a similar pattern, but everyone likes something else!

garysol1 04-06-13 06:32 AM

I bet in person that Noah is a stunner but in pictures it just does not do it for me....

Wicked hot!!!! Not everyone will take to such bold colors though l, especially it being pink. But I love it!

gc3 04-06-13 06:41 AM

Undeniably hot, even if overhwelming. Takes a pair to get out and ride on this one! :speedy:

You may want to add at least one water bottle cage....

I feel like some bigger chainrings would complete the hotness. For some reason, the chainrings just look too thin.

SpeshulEd 04-06-13 08:52 AM

Real men wear pink...or ride pink. (hmm, that sounds a little dirty.)

fa63 04-06-13 09:02 AM

That pink Noah is smoking hot (I had to put it up on my blog), though I can't help but think your De Rosa would have been a better choice for a Giro D'Italia themed paint job.

BykOfALesserGod 04-06-13 09:10 AM

The pink bike deserves a proper Hot R Not picture.

Nothing unmanly about the color. I rock a pink bass guitar and the girls love it.

Hottest bike in this thread for a long time.

coasting 04-06-13 10:02 AM

The pink thingy really doesn't do it for me and it's not just the shape. Sorry...this one is a not from me.

It's all because of your Sanrio hate. You look at that bike and you see:

In the old days ('70's)ish, custom Harleys weren't pink, they were...neon!

YES! The world needs more painted carbon bikes. The murdered out thing is getting really old.
