I say keep the decals. And of course, HOT.

An old pic from several months back. I no longer have the Enves, but here were my 65s with custom gloss black decals.

The Kona, the Dale and the Roubaix all got a NOT from me due to the position of the cranks.

The S Works has the chain on the wrong ring. NOT.

Thanks man they look great, and thanks for the link! Love the crank on the Noah, as I also have a 3D+ on my R3. More decisions for stickers...

O yea, was not a hot or not pic, did that 100 or so pages ago. Great feedback WRT decal. Thanks.

They're very nice bicycles but the rules are the rules :)

I would leave the wheels alone. They look great. My HED decals were obnoxious!

I guess I'm in the minority, but this one is a 'not' for me. Aside from the terrible staging, there's just too much bulk around the head tube.

That's not to say I wouldn't love to have that bike, but I don't like the look.

Thanks for the feedback. I saw an almost identical bike on the Rosedale School charity ride, and got the itch. I was on my R3 chilling and got me thinking. All I have left is dropping that D shaped spacer that flows into the top tube, or maybe a steeper stem to get a bit more drop. Thanks again man!

@antmeeks holy crap thanks man. Now if I can only remember the toon from your avatar... Damn I'm getting old lol

+1 S-Works just don't do it for me. Too much of that pooping dog look going on.

That is kind of a nice door. It goes well with the moldings.

Does that bike say venge on it anywhere? Specialized is going light on the decals.

HOT for sure - I love it.

jungovox 03-28-13 12:24 PM

damn - I just can't seem to add a photo (via insert image add file) without it coming in as thumbnail no matter what size I try - how are you guys doing this ?

no, but they did have about 15 layer stickers on it, which are lone gone. Still has 4 stickers under BB w/ bar codes and 1 under top tube with serial number. Crap pick above, but I think this one is more 41:

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...e/IMG_0953.jpg
12 sworks venge, 56, SRAM Red, sworks toupe, 175 sworks cranks, solid rotor qrings, Enve 45 cc with latex tubes, mich pro 4 SC, arundel cages, barfly mount, speed play SS, 15 lbs 0 oz... that is all. Thanks

I like the S-Works, but the aero profile of the frame makes it look like it desires some deeper wheels, Cosmic Carbone 80 or Zipp 808, something like that.

Computer literacy. ;)

In the 'advanced' editor, wrap your image URL with IMG tags.

Oh great, that's about as clear as mud.

Go to Imageshack.com. Sign up for an account (it's Free).

Upload your photo(s).

Copy the URL for your photo from the Share It/Full Size popup window, and ...

Paste it in your bikeforum post.

Any problems, PM me.

I have some deeper tubes, planet X gurus 50 mm, that I used to race on. The enve 45s where training wheels, and I like the way the roll so much that they are my race day wheel on this bike now too. They turn in great, are very sturdy for a bigger guy (175-180) and light enough to climb well too. If I go deeper it will be another set of wide wheels, maybe enve 6.7. Thanks!

Likewise.

chiefDave - Actually, I would like to put it up on my photoblog if you don't mind. You also mentioned Enve 6.7; that is about the only thing I can think of to make that bike look any better.
