Sure they do, they are the "not's".

To me, my Colnago is definitely hot but everyone is welcome to their opinion. I realize that it isn't for everyone.

Like someone else mentioned, to each his own.

...Lets wait for all the changes, and then they'll vote Hot for sure! u know what would help? a white garage door. You can borrow my or your moms...

White garage door. early morning, or evening pic with no shadows. I have a checklist for all the rules, I'll be sure to forward it along. I understand the excitement with a new build, but this bike needs to marinate a little longer then it'll definitely be hot. Also, loan him your Boyds for the pics.

The one posted above is a little too funky for me, but the c59 and EPS/Q are anything but hideous.

Nice bike but it just looks like a custom painted cadd 10 and I'm sure it costs $15,000 more

If I borrowed his Boyds that would be cheating...

I disagree. Looks nothing like a Caad10. To a degree, all bicycles look pretty much the same. It's the subtle differences that differentiate the nice ones from the not-so-nice ones. Lugged carbon construction with a traditional (or sloping if you prefer) geometry is a completely different animal than the welded aluminum Caad10. In my eyes, the Colnago c59 is the epitome of a beautiful bicycle. Then again, beauty is always in the eye of the beholder so it's impossible to prove one bicycle looks better than another.

^^^ It's true, beauty is always in the eye of the beer holder.

i agree. it is much like my aluminum bike. ok, mine is black and and campagnolo equipped but i would describe it as clean simple and attractive. not hot but it gets the job done and looks good doing it.

I can guarantee you that my Colnago is one of the cheapest bikes in this thread. In fact, I only bought it because I wanted a cheap carbon fibre road bike with some decent parts on it, I just got lucky is all. Assuming that a person would buy a bike only because it is expensive and flashy shows your own insecurities, not ours.

This one was cheap too, I wanted to give titanium a try and, again, got lucky.

this thread reminds me of this website where members upload pictures of themselves and have people vote whether they're hot or not....I don't know if it still exists..

You lost me. What does expensive bikes have to do with someones sense of security? Riding an ugly bike wouldn't make me insecure, in fact I think too much "flash" can often create a poser, Fred, etc.

Looks nice. Is that a Ritchey Logic crank, or Truvativ?

please explain why. is because you love the looks? is it because of performance? based on looks alone (beauty in the eye of the beholder....ya ya ya ya) every one of those calnago's are hideous. I guess if your into the old classic look I can understand, but I have never been one for classic anything.

Velo_Tut 12-15-11 10:20 PM

^^^ Are those new frames, i.e. 2011-2012? They look dated.
