Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

My opinion here...

Switch out the bar tape to black. I dont luke the aesthetics of thise bars. They are too ergo for my liking. The cages are a different blue than the blue on the frame so that is a no no in my eyes. If you're gonna match up colors they need to be exact, otherwise it looks horrible. So I would swap those out for black cages as well, though you could do white if you wanted.

Thanks, bought the bike like that used. I'll probably keep the cages and double wrap black tape on top. Bars do look weird but feel nice

A note I would like to add: The saddle is too far forward. The bars are too ergo for me also. Check your computer pickup. S-Works are hard to get love in this forum. Just my thoughts, so get out and ride!
Cheers

The Colnago is hot. Clearly, it would be hotter with EPS (and without the valve caps).

Something like this:

We all wish we could have a set of Boras. I can't fault the Enve decision. For my next bike.

I'm looking forward to adding another De Rosa, favorably the SuperKing 888 in the near future. EPS of course.

Although I'd strongly consider a C59 Italia in the blk/yellow colors as well when that time comes.

Thanks. I bought the Bora Ones from Ribble earlier in the year when they had a sale. I paid £844.97, shipped to NYC and I still regret not buying a 2nd pair as I haven't seen it ever go back to that price.

But can't go wrong with Enves either. Anyone looking for a top tier wheelset with custom options, Enves would be my first choice. The 65s I previously had for almost two years were great wheels, durable and trued only once after hitting an unavoidable pothole. I sold the 3T wheelset that I had on the De Rosa last month and the Enve 6.7s w/ Tune 170 hubs would be the perfect wheelset to replace that.

Both times I've been in a position to buy Boras, I went with Enve. I chose the 1.45s over the Boras recently. A few other considerations, but weight was excellent and I could use the CK R45s.

Rob built these a few years ago. Alchemy ELF/ORC, CX Rays. 1529g.

But, in all seriousness, the Di2 hoods feel better in my hand and that was really all that mattered to me. Is there really a debate that EPS functions better than Di2 or vise-versa?
I was just messin with you.
