What - you don't ride with an 11-11 cassette like everyone else?

Nice if one likes fire engine red (not my cuppa) and the saddle looking jammed forward. Must be speedy going down hill but a b"tch going up hill without that cassette...

With the Q-rings you don't need a cassette. They're *that* good.

Has potential.
Loose the wacky instagram filter, & stage it better.

that was just a really crappy shot from my crappy iPhone lol, I actually just adjusted the brightness so the bike can be seen better, but I guess I will take a better pic perhaps with my newly purchased GoPro 3+ for better quality, and after I cut those darn tubes SMH

The SS is nice, I like the colorway...but it looks like a stock bike with an uncut steerer, low saddle, and everything (except for the computer?) is black. Nice bike, not hot.

It's not a $10,000 rig, but it gets me by.

I adjusted the saddle and made the RD housing longer, looks better now but rainy outside. The only thing left to want is a power meter, gray Ultegra brakes and a DA RD are on the way.

Classy hot... Very nice!

You'll have to get a headset dustcover to remove that cone spacer and get that last bit slammed

Ridiculously HOT. Love that color scheme.

The Starley is hot.

SpinDr 02-07-14 09:59 AM

Thanks for the kind comments, chaps. The paint job - in fact the whole combination of parts - is custom.

Easy now, your iPhone camera is plenty good enough. I agree this is not a good photo but it has WAY more to do with light and setup. Don't blame your bad cooking on the pots… Take it outside into the light (in front of your white garage door <the photographer in me cringes to say that! - what a horrible backdrop> or in front of something simple, I suppose. I'd rather it be a concrete wall or something else. Anyway, get more light!! And let's see it. Bike looks good!

ok ok you got me there :twitchy: now looking at it.... that pic should never have been submitted  Definitely will take better pic with good lighting, and a MUCH better back drop. I'll get the tube cut off clean the bike a bit since its been raining and its quite muddy then re-submit lol...

gc3 02-07-14 12:18 PM

Starley - paint job looks nice, and the bike looks set up well and probably rides great. Overall, aesthetically it doesn't exactly thrill me, though.
