There is a place to play into a color theme. Yours doesn't look good. Spacers and seatpost have got to go. Here is one of my bikes with red accent:

That bike is just smokin hot. Hands down the best bike ever posted in this thread. Would not change anything ... including the chain ... the gold adds a nice contrast. Well done!!

My rationale for the red seatpost is because everything has a red accent.
It has: 3T Funda Pro with red stripe 3T Stem with red stripe KCNC red titanium botls KCNC spacers (which needs to be cut) KCNC red jockey wheels KMC red and black chain KCNC seat post In close up, the red is consistent amoungts all the pieces and brings the bike together nicely, imo.

How bad is the flex on your AX stem? I felt like I could snap the 120mm Zeus in half.

I do a lot of hill repeats in the spring... on one particular climb i probably shift a handful of times in an hour climb, descend, go up again.
Bike is beautiful, i just don't get it. |

I am going to be honest and please don't take his the wrong way but i don't get it. Neither the expense of building a sub 10 pound bike nor doing hill repeats on it. Not sure if you race but personally as a racer I would rather do hill repeats on my 2000g 32h handbuilts, two full waterbottles, pockets full of food, a frame pump and saddle bag as opposed to a 10 pound bike which I could never race as it falls below uci limits.

I don't need 2kg wheels and that bike does just fine with two full bottles. I carry food, co2 & pump in my pockets like they're designed to do.

I think you may have missed my point. Generally speaking a rider would do hill repeats in an attempt to get stronger. Much like wearing a weighted vest the added weight of a bike in training trim forces you to work harder thereby improving your fitness and strength on race day. Just trying to understand motive, that's it.

The motive is to have a very light bike for training and racing. To each their own.
1. Too fat (that's for you fuggers in the 33) 2. Doesn't meet weight standards It is beautiful nonetheless |
lol I'm with rkwaki, I dont understand why you would want to have a lighter training bike and race with a heavier. like you said, "to each their own" but I dont see how that logic will help anyone become stronger come time for race day. BUT, it is hard to argue how beautiful it is. If you have the money to spend on a bike like that for training, I'd love to see your race bike.

i appreciate the attempt at the red but UCI is correct. the problem is that you have a lot of red accents and then the seat post and spacers are too red. i still think the matching 3t post with a red stripe and black spacers would completely change the look if the bike for the better.
