it would be if it had some saddle to bar drop

Soloist Assassin 12-17-11 07:32 PM

the ocd in me makes me want to kill myself looking at that white bike. Even though it is very clean, it is a NOT.

NathanC 12-17-11 07:48 PM

So, I am tempted to post my bike, but the only thing is the steerer needs to be cut.

Should I post it?

LOGICK ONE 12-17-11 07:54 PM

yes, of course, no one is going to care about steerer tube

I have that exact face on when I read that post. I'd still post it anyways. But that is the perfect picture.

Ax certainly has a rider weight limit...most of the stuff on that Scott is 75kg and 2-3 for torque.

What do you mean in regards to torque? I have no problems with weight limits on parts, but I do ride hard. I couldn't imagine changing out 1000 dollar derailleurs and cassettes every time something went wrong. In the end, it's the smile the matters. How many miles have you put on that thing?

rc51crazy 12-17-11 08:34 PM

unfortunely...not...too much white.. great frame, but it needs some color

Just raise your seat post up 3 inches for the picture to compensate ;)

NathanC 12-17-11 10:35 PM

The saddle to handlebar drop is fine, there is just 3 spacers on top of the handlebars...

He means 2-3 Nm torque limit.

The derailleur is pretty solid as are the wheels but i don't weigh much.. the saddle and post give me some pause and likely what would go first if anything...

Add a naked picture of a hot young woman on your bike and plenty of people will forget the small details of your bike.

Did you build the Scott to chase KOM's on Strava or a particular event? There seems to be more Strava participation in the Bay Area than just about anywhere.

I do a lot of hill repeats in the spring... on one particular climb i probably shift a handful of times in an hour climb, descend, go up again.
