One of my all time favorite bikes!!! Seeing this picture confirms that I will be going with a black chain also. So HOT

sbxx1985 03-21-14 08:46 PM

Hot.

coppercook62 03-21-14 10:22 PM

De Rosa hot

gc3 03-21-14 10:32 PM

This iteration of the DeRosa, I like gumwalls and I like green accents, but not at the same time.

link0 03-22-14 04:45 AM

I really like the Derosa.

plpete 03-22-14 05:12 AM

Similar thoughts as gc3. I've recently come to really like gum wall tires, however, they look best on all black rims, i.e. carbon. Put on some all black tires and it will be hot. For now it's a Not for me.

plpete 03-22-14 11:36 AM

Race ready set up. (excuse the saddle bag - took this during a ride) Only other thing needed is a Sram YAW derailleur to eliminate some of the chain rub. Other than that everything is on point.

New wheels. Not sure how I feel about the decals.

Everything is done right on that cervelo, the angle of the stem fits that top tube well, stem is slammed, deep dish carbon wheels, staging is good, but there is just something about it that makes it Luke warm for me and I don't know what it is. Might just be the geometry of the frame, I don't know. I still like it a lot, but its not super hot for me. I really want to give it a Hot though

iana1973 03-22-14 02:45 PM

Hot

LAJ 03-22-14 03:03 PM

De Rosa will always be hot.

Cannondale needs the 52 to be the same color as the Rail. Still hot.

Cervelo is Hot. My bet is the short leg/long torso look of the set-up, Bianchi10.

SpeshulEd 03-22-14 03:12 PM

Nice couple of pages of bikes. Good stuff in the Hot r Not thread lately.

That's exactly it. The old man geometry always makes it look a little "off".

No one commented on whether to keep the decals or not.

sbxx1985 03-22-14 04:27 PM

Reynolds had decent decals, then their decals were awful, and now they're just kind of bad. I say no decals except for the valve decal.

Silvercivic27 03-22-14 04:30 PM

I say keep 'em.

Here is a photo of what your bike would look like with decals off. Photoshop always helps give a better idea instead of trying to guess which would look better. :thumb:

Thanks for all the great comments about my Ritchey, ( Dtrain I fixed the rear brake cable, the front brake cable was sitting underneath it pushing it up). Been out on a couple of rides now, such a smooth, comfortable ride and handles like a dream

I agree with this! I bought my reynolds used and the valve decal had been removed. I'm too cheap to buy a new set of decals just for the valve decal but I think thats the hottest way to roll the reynolds...simple and understated, but everyone still knows what they are.

spectastic 03-22-14 07:32 PM

why no handlebar tape on the de rosa?

Saw the photo...didn't read the words with it? No tape because Primo didn't put it on yet.

Thanks for the photoshop!! Yeah, I ran my Attacks with just the valve stem logo, and I really liked it like that. I actually do like the full on limited edition grey decals as seen on the pic. However, it looks and screams "I'm fast", which I am not at all. I think i may remove the Reynolds decals and just leave the valve stem logo and the powertap logo.
