Hot. But I'd rather see it without all the fancy photography.

Pretty sure the Project Black sucks all the light and color from its surroundings and that is not fancy photography.

Yeah, its a black hole. All I did was use an external flash and a custom white balance.

For those of you who remember I had the weird bike with the digital blue tires with the messed up camera angle. Yeah they look better on her bike than mine, so we swapped tires. Had to make changes to match new saddle.

After finally having ridden the bike for a while now, have the setup to where I need it to be. Yeah, I know I need to cut the steerertube, this is a century focused bike.

Not really asserting that it's hot, but just updating so my legacy here isn't the weird blue tired bike LOL. I'll eventually get to black tires but for now the look I can live with.

Going to leave this bike alone for cruising rides and going to build a more typical all black cervelo for speed. I'll be back.

That was a brainfart on my part... LOL! Obviously the Thomson setback posts are very distinctive!

The Cervelo is hot.

LAJ 03-06-14 10:05 PM

The Cervelo is the way a bike should be done. Hot.

The rear brake cable donuts aren't evenly spaced.
And, it might be an illussion, but the drops look so flat that they almost appear to be angled upwards. In which case the bars could be rotated up just that touch and the levers moved down accordingly.
Oh, and egads, the shifter cabling is external.

Nicely done.

Definately hot.

And I am not fun of Cervelo.

As some one said on the build-page for the Cervello from R & A Cycles, Enve and EPS, what is there not to love? A very nice bike!

pretzelogic 03-07-14 04:34 AM

Sizzling Hot Cervelo!

Hot; impressively light, especially considering the added weight (~.4 lbs?) of the EPS's battery.

I'm a Di2 man, myself, but still hot as hell.

And lets not forget all the subtle Ti pieces. Man, this has me looking at ENVEs all over again. :)

HOT.

Not bad for external routing though.

I considered drilling holes. Cervelo customer service was nice enough to suggest someone. But voiding a lifetime warranty on new five year old very light for it's time frame is pretty dumb.

Dfarlow 03-07-14 10:10 AM

Hot Cervelo, but my WW calculations can't get close to 14.28 lbs, even if the 6.7's are tubular. Would love to see a breakdown of weight, as I'm struggling to see how it's sub 15.

Not 6.7s. 65s, Alchemy, CX Rays.
