...so besides the saddle to hood relationship, I also cannot tilt my saddle backward slightly for balance ? I learn so much useful stuff in road.:thumb:

You're behind in your tuition, by the way. Please remit.

No need to be tetchy--my pointing out that the lens I used, combined with the angle of the shot, gave the saddle a nose-up appearance is nothing more than a clarification.

Slightly tilted up is only allowed with Brooks (or Ideale, or Wright, or...). Something tells me you wouldn't be too opposed to rolling Brooks on yer roadies, though. :)

You may tilt your saddle on a 45 if you so desire. Do what you will, that one just looked like it might be painful. However, bd assured us it is level and only LOOKS like it's tilted up due to the angle of the photo taken. Btw, the guy I bought my bike from had the saddle tilted downwards about 10 degrees. Pretty steep and loved it and raced it that way. So if he's winning, then it works! But tilted up? Like I said, ouch.

That's quite a collection of retro hotties.

Even the Trek. ;)

...seriously, how is point of balance in the saddle related to an aesthetic judgement of hot or not ? Inquiring minds want to know. #not_touchy_or_feely

If your saddle is level it means your mind is also level. Haven't you ever heard the term 'level headed'?

I dig your GF's powder blue ride, too, but this is the one. Very nice.

Fair enough.

I was going to post a picture of my bent because I put new hot-looking yellow bar tape on it, but I was afraid sommeone was going to tell me to flip it and shove it.

Poor lighting and I'm still waiting on the bottle cages to show up, but I'm pretty happy with where it's at right now. It's a Trek though :p

dudemanppl 04-22-14 06:19 PM

Slam the stem and its hot. Really short head tube for a Trek... I like. Also the 3D+ P2M and the Ultegra 6800 chainrings is a very interesting combo. On first glance I thought it was a mountain crank.

robbyville 04-22-14 07:23 PM

Not bad for the trek (and I ride one) what crankset is that, and are you running the 32t cassette with DI2? I'm considering the conversion (run to 28t right now). Which frame set is it very nice!

fuel0707 04-22-14 07:54 PM

Is that Trek a Classics Edition Domane?
