This is a bit of a stretch, but if you look closely, you can see the road ahead. This part is the steep section on a little 5 mile/2k' gain climb.

I was riding around Caravelle Ranch WMA not too long ago. Hot day. Lots of biting flies and cow pies.

Finally, Going to the Sun Road - got in two bucket list rides on our recent road trip - Going to the Sun Road and Beartooth Highway - with an added really nice ride in the Badlands. btw, I did make it to Logan Pass despite doubts expressed when I recorded this video.

Went up a local mountian pass to ride a loop back down. Little did I know I would have to climb again and back-track several miles and return the way I came up.

An earlier post with skid marks on the road reminded me of this scene from my last bike ride. Some yahoos did a donut and knocked down the stop sign. Sorry not quite empty road, but this is the best I could do on a busy state road. Also of note, as soon as I put my phone/camera down a bear ran across the road. He missed being in the picture by two seconds.
