LOL, yes, it came true again !!
All ready to go, then, need written permission to use the land (i.e. not incl, Council or Police), OK, maybe no hassle, but then, would also need temporary zoning restriction lifting to allowed a sporting event to be held there. With only 8 weeks to go it's not looking likely that anything can be guaranteed... may go for a change of venue instead, one that hopefully only Council needs to approve, not 3 different bodies.
On a good note, looks like summer club crits will be on Sunday morning instead of Saturday arvo/eve.

Has anyone else noticed, that whatever you try to accomplish in this world, there is always a major hurdle that's there for absolutely no good reason appart from purely making things difficult?

Anyone know where I can get temporary filling (gutarpersia, dentemp, tempine, etc.) Not one of the chemist on the central coast stock it. One actually went as far as saying that they used to sell it, but now the dentists don't allow it!!!! WTF??? What about all the adventurers who go bush for 2 months? What are they supposed to do? Albey Mangles would never put up with that sort of rubbish!

Nup. No fillings.
I like the rain. Makes you tough. Like Belgium.
Like Robert Millar once said (who had to train in Scotland in February!!!): "Even on a day when I head out for only a couple of hours in sheeting rain, I know Sean Kelly will have done 6 hours with no gloves on."

Climbo, in regards to your issues with CX. TORC ran a " 4X dirt crit" on a mini bike course in St ives which was CX friendy, a few guys even turned upon CX bikes. maybee its worth investigating as a stop gap?

Saccy, were you the one looking for some V brakes and levers? I can't believe I just sold my used levers on ebay for $50. I parted out my spare MTB (known as the "parts bike") on ebay, minus the Mavic wheels and some other goodies, and got over $650 for it. Crazy.
